Easy Peasy Returns and Exchange Policy

All product returns must have a Return Authorization number (RA) in order to be accepted and processed. This RA number will expire 10 days after it is issued and cannot be reissued. The products must be in like new condition with all the original packaging. New condition is defined as a product that is unused, not soiled, includes the original packaging and documentation and is fit to be resold as a new item. If the returned product is in a condition other than new, a credit will not be issued. At the customer’s option, the product can be returned to them “freight collect“.

To obtain an RA number please email us at Please include the following information:

  • Name and daytime phone number
  • Your purchase order number (example XXXXX)
  • The reason for the return (defective product, wrong item shipped, etc.)

We will respond to your email within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) providing you with a return authorization number (RA) and return address.

Returns not accompanied by an RA number might be refused and the parcel returned to the sender although we will do everything we can to prevent this. Please print the RA number on the shipping label. The RA will be valid for 10 days from the date of issuance. We strongly recommend you ship the item back with a method that can be tracked or with insurance so that you have recourse if the item is lost or damaged in transit. Please email us the tracking number for your return and we will gladly expedite the refund/exchange process.

If you just received your order and it appears that it was damaged in transit, contains a manufacturer’s defect or the wrong item was shipped please let us know as soon as possible. We will of course make all the necessary arrangements to correct the situation at no cost to you. In some cases the manufacturer will require at least one photograph of the item in question.

Car Truck Accessories is currently unable to accept returns on used items or items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Web Orders

If your order was placed through our website we will have to charge a 15% processing fee on your return (unless it is determined to be defective or a mis-shipment).

Phone Orders

If your order was placed over the phone with our staff and you need to return your order for any reason, we will gladly cover all shipping costs and any processing fees that may be incurred. 

Credit Card Billing (Capturing Funds)

Payment is collected on all orders at the time the order is placed


The refund will be applied to the original payment method Please allow up to 30-days for a credit to be applied to your credit card account once a return authorization has been issued.

Refused Shipments

Shipments returned as undeliverable for any reason will be considered refused. Should customer contact Car Truck Accessories and request re-shipment, customer will be responsible for additional freight charges. If a delivery is refused the customer will be responsible for all incurred shipping costs and the standard 15% processing fee. 

Warranty Claim

Failure to completely follow the installation instructions included with all products sold by Car Truck Accessories will automatically void the manufacturer’s warranty. Car Truck Accessories cannot be held responsible for neglect or mistake of the installer. Please refer to the specific product warranty for further information.
